About The Band
Lake 32 is a St. Louis-based original modern rock band featuring veterans of the St. Louis music scene. By combining the influences of modern and classic rock with pop & funk anthems, Lake 32 creates a unique and powerful blend of music appealing to today's street-savvy fans.
Lake 32 was created when St. Charles County natives Chris
Sebastien and Rich Houke joined forces with Chicago transplants
Jeff Laird and Denny Boynton to create a modern rock band which
drew heavily from their influences in previous area bands.
Having grown up on 70's and 80's-era rock, the four quickly
found their footing and started writing original rock music with
a modern flair. The group continues to create quality original
music while performing regularly throughout the St. Louis area
with other well-known local acts.
Lake 32 is also instrumental in organizing and performing at the
annual Race for the Rivers Festival on the St. Charles
riverfront, utilizing the
opportunity to elevate awareness of local environmental issues
as well as showcasing musical talent from throughout the St.
Louis region.
Lake 32 has just completed its first 3-song EP and is working
towards
releasing a full-length CD by the end of 2009.
